If you've ever wondered what it's like to share your home with a 16-pound, impossibly fluffy silver tabby Maine Coon, allow us to introduce you to the one and only Walter (you may know him as @walterthemainecoon).
Morning: The Wake-Up Committee
Walter's day begins precisely when he decides it should — usually around sunrise, with a gentle but non-negotiable paw to the face. Breakfast is a serious affair, eaten with the focus of a cat who knows exactly how handsome he is.
Midday: Surveying the Kingdom
After breakfast, Walter makes his rounds. Every windowsill must be inspected, every sunbeam must be lounged in, and every cardboard box (regardless of size) must be tested for napping suitability. It's tough work, but someone has to do it.
Afternoon: The Art of the Nap
Maine Coons are known for their majestic appearance and their equally majestic ability to sleep anywhere. Walter is no exception. His luxurious tail makes the perfect built-in blanket.
Evening: Quality Time (and Cooking)
Evenings are for snuggles, head boops, and supervising dinner prep — which is exactly how Cooking With Walter came to be. Every recipe is inspired by the little moments we share, and all proceeds go to food justice organizations.
